What do you provide?

Initially, I will ask questions and listen carefully to gather information about your website needs. After we have determined your needs, we will address design considerations. I will provide a practical and attractive website, based on your needs and specifications. I will host your website on a secure server. If you need e-mail accounts or mailing lists (often called a listserv), these can be provided. I specialize in working with mental health providers and authors.

What content will go on my website?

That is for you to decide. After your website needs and design considerations are determined, you will be asked to supply the text and image content. We have the capability to edit photos and images and the ability to transform text files into Adobe PDF documents if needed. You will provide your content via e-mail, and we will incorporate it into your website design.

Will you register my website domain name?

Yes, that is part of the initial cost. We will discuss the potential names of your website, and I will check to see which of those domain names are available. Once you choose a name, I will register it for you.

What does it cost?

Costs vary depending on your website needs. A large or complex website that requires constant updates will cost more than small, simple site. Generally, there will be an initial cost of designing, building, and registering your website domain name, followed by a monthly maintenance fee. In some cases, we may decide on a price that includes website development, domain name registration, website hosting and maintenance for one year.

What is the monthly maintenance fee?

This includes of cost of monthly webhosting and updates to your website, which are handled through e-mail. For instance, you may desire to add an event you are hosting on your homepage and then have it removed after the event is over. You e-mail the information to us, formatted as you want it to appear, and it will added to your website and removed it when the event is over. The web is a dynamic environment, and it is important to keep your website up to date; however, major additions, including the creation of new webpages, and website makeovers or redesign will incur additional costs.

What if I want to redesign the site?

We will discuss your needs, and the cost will be based on the amount of time required to redesign and rebuild your website.

Can you create a business logo for me?

Yes, we have a professional graphic artist who will work with you to create a business logo. This cost is in addition to the creation of your website. The files of your logo will be appropriate for use on your website. Moreover, you will receive graphics files that can be used on stationary and business cards.
